First Look Vivo V17 Pro - Right To Pro?

Today Vivo officially launched Vivo V17 Pro. They were updated to the Vivo V15 Pro, which was launched at the beginning of the year. The processing chip is still the same as the Snapdragon 675 - but the price is cheaper and there are more cameras. Have something to buy?

This equipment has already entered the Amnan examination laboratory and we can try this tool. In this article I will share my opinion, whether it is a tool or not.

Specification

The Vivo V17 Pro uses a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Ultra Fullview display screen, non-frame design and FHD + resolution. The processing chip is similar to that of the V15 Pro, which is the Snapdragon 675. This time there is only one variant, which is 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The battery is also 4100mAh with proper charging support for dual engine fast charging 18W. Interestingly, he now uses USB-C instead of microUSB.

The V17 Pro with V15 Pro uses a re-piercing camera set. The V17 Pro uses a total of six cameras, bi-camera on the back and bi-camera on the pop-up camera. At the rear, the quad-camera 48MP lens + 8MP ultra wide angle + 2MP depth sensor + 2MP macro and selfie camera is a combination of 32MP and 8MP ultra wide angle. For fingerprint scanners, Vivo uses an optical type screen below.

What you need to remember is that the Vivo brand is no longer a cheap Chinese-made device. We are used to complaints by people like, "Ala, Chinese phone - it shouldn't be good!". If that is what you still think, then you are wrong. This is because the Vivo device is now on par with other great devices. Yes, that's right - it's disappointing that Vivo still holds the Snapdragon 675 processing chip and doesn't upgrade to the Snapdragon 7xx series. But with the optimization of FuntouchOS 9.1, the achievement rate is multiplied and reasonable. Cuba looked very satisfactory in all directions. He is really worthy, again smoothly. Likewise, opening applications, changing animations and more. It feels like a lighthouse device. To run Permua, the permua mod is now more interesting on this device. The first mod is often to improve performance, "advance" the internet and so on. But in this Vivo device, there is a function to change the sound. So if you play games like PUBG Mobile, you can turn your voice into Artificial Intelligence, Commander and many other unique sounds.

Vivo's focus is on the camera this time. Vivo implements various functions on this camera. There are six camera gimmicks on this device. It is actually a function as it comes out on paper. According to Vivo, the device also uses a new algorithm for six camera settings. We first start with the back camera. The 48MP is a cliche with this year's equipment. So don't be surprised if Vivo includes it. One thing to note is that the 8MP ultra wide-angle lens is of better quality than before.

Then there is a macro lens that can take close-up photographs with extremely sharp quality, accurate grain and bright colors. Even though there is no telephoto lens, zooming in close range does not determine image quality. Similarly, the clear Bokeh lens here is not a gimmick. Taking bokeh photographs, the background now has a blot that is packed and a nice feat in the solitude between the subject and the background. View the sample picture and you yourself.

Of course, Night Mod is a feature that should be included in modern devices. The Vivo V17 Pro uses AI Super Night mode on the back camera and Super Night selfie on the selfie camera. It was on this night mode that Vivo incorporated a new algorithm. In some situations, Auto Mod artificial intelligence is better than Night mode. This is because the Night Mod on this device is not yet smart enough to compete with Huawei or Pixel. But, it is according to the price.

Turning to charging, dual engine fast charging is limited to only 18W. Vivo uses the 9V2A system, which is rather slow on us. Why do you need to join Apple, which is far behind with a reasonable charge of 18W? Whereas Vivo has a super flashcharge charging system which is far more suitable. But thankfully Vivo uses USB-C and no longer has a microUSB

The novel

He still looks like the Vivo V15 Pro in terms of form. But with a long camera in the middle, he differentiated between the V15 Pro and the V17 Pro. On the other hand, the device is fully packed - the overall frame is thin and almost flat. It can be called like the iPhone 11 frame. Front and back are glass, rear are 2.5D glass. The custom dual-lens pop-up camera is attractive and looks like a robot's eye.
On the left is a physical button calling on Google Assistant, on the right is a power button and also a sound level button. Turning up is where the selfie photo camera rises, the microphone and 3.5mm audio trigger port and the lower end is a USB-C port, SIM card slot and loudspeaker.

The problem with this device is, even though glass feels like plastic and is very cheap. When compared with the V15 Pro, the V15 Pro feels more premium and 'solid' than the V15 Pro. Perhaps because of this, the V17 Pro can be sold cheaper than the V15 Pro on launch day. Then the colors introduced are more attractive and look "pro". The colors of our unit are crystal white and the other color that Vivo has introduced is Night Black.

Conclusion

For medium range devices, the Vivo V17 Pro is expensive. It is sold at a price of RM1,699 for a variation of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal deposits. At this price, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is more dangerous if you prefer more suitable performance and excellence. But if your focus is on projections that look more "premium", then there is a more "professional" camera and want a pop-up camera technology Which has an ultra wide angle lens - Vivo V17 Pro is rather adequate. Oh yes, the framework provided in the Vivo V17 Pro box is a hard and tight plastic framework, not a "cheap" and easily pale silicon framework.

Vivo V17 Pro can also be purchased today in Malaysia, there are official forums everywhere such as Vivo shop, Shoppy, Tyrant and many more. Are you going to buy it?
